T&C’s

 

Courses must be booked and paid for at the point of booking unless otherwise agreed. 

 

CANCELLATION:

Empowered Birth reserves the right to amend or cancel any course, course times, dates or published prices. Changes to course prices, times, and dates will be advised before the course start date and any course already paid in full will not be subject to the increased prices. Should Empowered Birth need to cancel part of a course, a refund will only be given for the part of the course not yet delivered minus the cost of the course materials. 

 

In case of cancellation by a client for a course, £150 is non-refundable. Further to that, the following cancellation charges will apply:

30 days or more                                   No further cancellation charge

14-29 days                                            50% of the course fee

13 days or less                                     100% of course fee

 

However, in the unlikely event the course date you have chosen is canceled by us, you will be offered an alternative date, if you cannot attend this date I will refund your full course fee. 

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:

Any recordings or written material included as part of this course are the sole property of Empowered Birth (and where applicable, The Little Birth Company) and may not be used other than for the personal use of the course attendees. 

 

DATA PROTECTION:

The participants also agree Empowered Birth shall hold your personal details on file and on computer securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. See below privacy policy for more information about how we use your information. 

 

DISCLAIMER:

Using Hypnobirthing techniques is not a substitute for the advice or presence during birth or any part of your pregnancy or labour of a qualified medical practitioner, midwife or obstetrician. It does not represent in fact or otherwise an alternative to appropriate medical care of professional medical advice in any way shape or form. Empowered Birth accepts no responsibility for the inappropriate use of Hypnobirthing techniques or complications or harm to any third party resulting from the use of Hypnobirthing techniques as a substitute for medical advice. Hypnobirthing is intended solely as an ‘aid’ to ‘support’ labour and birth and is not in any way a guarantee or promise of expected, imagined or actual outcome of the labour or birth in any way, shape or form. Participation in Hypnobirthing classes in any part or in total by an person or third party is undertaken with the understanding by any persons or third party that no litigation or legal action whatsoever will be initiated or that no form of compensation or reimbursement or refund will be claims or applied for at any time now or in the future against Empowered Birth or its representatives under any circumstances whatsoever. 

 

AGREEMENT:

Any booking of a Hypnobirthing class assumes full and informed compliance to and agreement with all of these terms and conditions of sale.

This privacy policy sets out how Empowered Birth uses and protects any information that you give Empowered Birth when you use this website. Empowered Birth is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Empowered Birth may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 2018. A small fee will be payable.
